SS SEALED An unopened record
M MINT Perfect, NO defects of any kind, NO seam splits, NO tears, NO spine wear, NO writings, NO dog-eared corners, NO stamps...
M- MINT- Near Perfect but may have a very small problem
EX EXCELLENT Near Perfect but may have a few minor imperfections, a small split, a light corner wear or two, one or two very light creases, absolutely NOT bended. It could be a MINT- jacket with a drill hole, saw cut
VG++ VERY GOOD++ As above but may have a slight ring wear or slight discoloration
VG+ VERY GOOD+ Cover still has a nice overall appearance but may have seam splits, spine split, small tears, ring wear, writings, discoloration, in various (not severe) degrees
VG VERY GOOD Cover is in decent shape but there are a lot of wears, extreme ring wear...

VINYL
SS SEALED
M MINT New, it has never been played (it was sealed and then opened to check label or vinyl)... NO NOISES
M- MINT- As new but it has been played very few times... NO NOISES
EX EXCELLENT Vinyl may have slight scuffs not audible or very light hairline scratches that don't affect sound quality... NO NOISES
VG++ VERY GOOD++ As above but may have light surface noises between tracks or very light minimal surface noises in very quiet moments only
VG+ VERY GOOD+ Vinyl may show some signs of wear and may have occasional minimal intermittent light surface noises
VG VERY GOOD Vinyl may show a lot of light scratches and may have light surface noises (absolutely nothing serious) or may have evident surface noises in soft passages and during a song's intro and fade, but will not overpower the music
G GOOD Vinyl may show many visible scratches and may have significant surface noises "good enough to play-out"
